Campaign setup and sending can now be configured separately. You can choose the person a campaign comes from - a colleague on your team, a consultant, or someone who hasn't yet joined the platform.
How it works
Turn on sender access. Open Integrations settings and turn on "Allow campaign owners to send emails from my mailbox." This permission stays on for future campaigns and can be withdrawn at any time.
Choose the sender. On Step 3 of the campaign wizard, choose the colleague or consultant whose mailbox should send the campaign. This option becomes available once sender access and the mailbox connection are set up.
Invite someone who doesn't use Outreach. Send a single-use invitation. They authorize their Google or Microsoft mailbox through the link, and that authorization can be used for future campaigns without creating an Outreach account.
Manage pending access. An invitation expires after seven days. While it's pending, campaigns remain drafts and show why they are waiting. You can cancel the invitation or send a new one with a fresh seven-day window.
Respect withdrawal. The sender can withdraw access at any time using their durable withdrawal link.
â ď¸ Important: Compliance reminder: Only admins can use this feature (Step 3 above). Before sending on behalf of a consultant, confirm your organization is authorized to use the consultant's mailbox and has separately assessed the lawful basis and marketing rules that apply to the campaign. Outreach manages the mailbox permission, invitation expiry, and withdrawal process, and records key access actions. These controls support your compliance process, but mailbox authorization alone does not establish a lawful basis for the campaign or replace your organization's own review.
