AI-powered Search in Access Automate Outreach helps you quickly find the right candidates and contacts to add to your campaigns. This article explains how each search filter works so you can build the most targeted audience possible.
Location search
Location search matches candidates across region, city, and metro area. You don't need to enter exact city names — AI Search interprets your location input broadly and returns results from the surrounding geographic area.
For example, searching for "London" will return candidates based in London as well as those in the broader Greater London metro area.
Owner and status filters
Use the Owner filter to find candidates assigned to a specific team member, and the Status filter to narrow results by where a candidate is in your pipeline.
These filters work correctly regardless of which other filters are active — you can combine Owner and Status with location, industry, or salary range filters and results will remain accurate.
Salary range
When filtering by salary, set both a minimum and a maximum value. AI Search applies both values correctly, so your results stay within the range you define. Inverted ranges (where the minimum is higher than the maximum) are blocked to prevent unintended results.
Industry and non-industry filters
The Industry filter is optional. Non-industry filters — such as location, owner, and status — work independently and do not require an industry to be selected. You can run a search using only non-industry filters and results will be accurate.
🤓 Tip: Start broad with a location or status filter, then layer in industry and salary range to progressively narrow your audience before adding leads to a campaign.
Combining filters
All filters in AI Search can be combined. The more filters you apply, the more targeted your results. Here are some common combinations:
Location + Industry: Find candidates in a specific region who work in a particular sector.
Status + Owner: Find all active leads assigned to a specific team member.
Location + Salary range: Find candidates in a metro area within a compensation band.
Industry + Status: Find candidates in a sector at a specific pipeline stage.
