When you import contacts using Data Upload, you can sync those contacts to Vincere. This article explains how the sync works, what data is carried across, and how to interpret any contacts that fail to sync.
How the sync works
When a Data Upload sync to Vincere is triggered, Access Automate Outreach sends your contacts to Vincere one by one. If Vincere is busy or temporarily unavailable, the sync waits and retries automatically rather than failing immediately. This means large syncs complete reliably even during periods of high Vincere activity.
🤓 Tip: You don't need to manually re-trigger a sync if Vincere appears slow. The retry logic handles this automatically in the background.
What data is carried across
The following data from your Data Upload contacts is included in the sync to Vincere:
Phone numbers - carried across and mapped to the correct Vincere phone fields.
Distribution lists - list memberships are preserved during the sync.
All other standard contact fields included in your Data Upload file.
📌 Note: A candidate's primary email address and primary phone number from Vincere now map to the correct personal fields on import, giving you cleaner, more reliable contact records.
Contacts that cannot sync
If a contact cannot be synced to Vincere, it is flagged in the sync results with a clear reason explaining why. Common reasons include:
A required Vincere field is missing from the contact record.
The contact already exists in Vincere and the duplicate rule prevented an update.
Vincere returned a validation error for one or more fields.
Review the reason shown against any failed contact and update the source data in your Data Upload file before re-syncing.
Re-syncing after fixing errors
Review the sync results and note the reason for each failed contact.
Update the relevant fields in your Data Upload file.
Re-import the corrected file via Data Upload.
Trigger the Vincere sync again - only previously failed contacts need to be re-processed.
