Syncing Outreach Activity Back to ARCRM

Learn how Access Automate Outreach automatically writes campaign activity and enriched contact data back to your Access Recruitment CRM records, and how to configure sync defaults at the integration level.

Written by Terence Cassidy

If your agency uses Access Recruitment CRM (ARCRM), Access Automate Outreach can automatically write campaign activity and enriched contact data back to your ARCRM records. This keeps your CRM up to date without manual re-entry of emails, calls, or enrichment results.

What is written back to ARCRM

The following data flows from Access Automate Outreach into the corresponding ARCRM record automatically:

  • Emails: outbound emails sent and inbound replies received during the campaign.

  • Calls: calls and other tracked activity logged during the campaign.

  • Enriched profile fields: a wide set of contact profile fields updated through enrichment.

  • Audit note: a structured note added to the ARCRM record showing exactly which fields were changed by enrichment and what the new values are.

🤓 Tip: The audit note gives your recruiters a clear record of what outreach changed — useful for handoff conversations and account reviews.

Configuring sync defaults

Rather than setting the same values on every ARCRM campaign, you can configure defaults once at the integration level. The following defaults can be set:

  • Default sector: the sector assigned to contacts synced to ARCRM.

  • Default client type: the client classification used when writing records.

  • Default contact type: the contact classification applied to synced records.

Once set, every campaign using your ARCRM integration inherits these defaults automatically. You can still override them on individual campaigns if a specific campaign requires different values.

Where to set your sync defaults

  1. Go to Settings and open your Integrations.

  2. Select your ARCRM integration.

  3. Set your default sector, client type, and contact type.

  4. Save. All future campaigns will inherit these defaults.

Viewing synced activity in ARCRM

Once write-back is active, you can find synced activity directly on the contact or candidate record in ARCRM. Look for emails, calls, and the enrichment audit note in the record's activity timeline.
