CRM Sync Settings and Activity Log in Automate Outreach

An overview of the CRM Sync tab and Activity Log in Automate Outreach, including enrichment tracking, email matching behaviour, and updated event filters.

Written by Terence Cassidy

Automate Outreach includes a CRM Sync tab and an Activity Log to help you manage how data flows between Outreach and your CRM, and to track what happens to each lead throughout a campaign.

CRM Sync

The CRM Sync tab (previously called CRM) brings together your CRM integration settings with clearer labels and helper text on each setting.

How Email Address Matching Works

The Primary email address setting controls which address is used to match a lead to an existing CRM record. Both Work and Personal email addresses are always written to your CRM — the Primary setting only determines which one is used for matching.

You can optionally set a fallback address to use for matching when the primary is not available.

ARCRM Sync Defaults

ARCRM sync defaults are now managed in their own dedicated modal, organised by entity type. Open it from the CRM Sync tab to review and update your defaults.

Activity Log

The Activity Log records events for each lead throughout a campaign, giving you a full picture of what happened and when.

Enrichment Tab

A dedicated Enrichment tab shows enrichment activity for each lead, including which field was enriched and what the value changed to.

Campaign and Lead Events

The following events are now recorded in the Activity Log:

  • Campaign completed

  • Lead completed

Cleaner Filters

Bounced, failed, and skipped entries no longer appear alongside the link-opened and link-clicked filters, making it easier to focus on engagement activity separately from delivery issues.
