Before you launch a campaign, the Campaign Wizard checks whether the channels your sequence uses are actually connected. This prevents sequences from going nowhere because a mailbox or SMS number was never set up.
Where to find the integration status check
The integration status check appears in the Campaign Wizard on the review step, before you launch. Each channel used in your sequence is listed as a row showing its current connection status and, if connected, who your messages will send as.
Email status
Connected: the row shows the sending mailbox account. This is the address your campaign emails will come from.
Not connected: the row flags the issue and shows a Connect Email action. Clicking it opens the Integrations page without losing your place in the wizard.
SMS status
Connected: the row shows Sending via Twilio, confirming your SMS provider is active.
Not connected: the row flags the issue and shows a Connect SMS action. You can connect immediately or continue setting up the campaign and connect SMS afterwards.
â ď¸ Important: Launching a campaign with a disconnected channel means those sequence steps will not send. Resolve any flagged integrations before or immediately after launching.
Connecting an integration from within the wizard
On the review step, locate the flagged channel row.
Click the Connect Email or Connect SMS action.
The Integrations page opens. Follow the steps to connect your mailbox or SMS provider.
Return to the Campaign Wizard - your draft is saved and waiting.
What if I only use one channel?
The status check only shows rows for the channels your sequence actually uses. If your sequence is email-only, only the email row appears. If you later add an SMS step, the SMS row will appear on your next visit to the review step.
